HOW TO DO CABLE BENCH PRESSES: To do cable presses, position an adjustable bench in between the two columns of a cable machine. Start from a seated position on the weight bench and grab the cable handles. Lie back with your feet flat on the floor, a natural arch in your lower back, and shoulder blades squeezed together for a stable base.
